Stasis Amp Unit
This thing is based on something we've seen Mimir Corporation lugging around. It basically projects an inverted one-way force field out around a target of your choice, trapping them in place. It's rather weak and fairly pathetic against weapon fire, but you can shoot idiots through it from your side. Particularly hilarious if they try to throw a grenade. Collect them all! Batteries sold separately.

  • Requirements: +1 Willpower
    The maximum you can hold in stasis at once is equal to your willpower
  • Rolls: Attacker's PSI Unit and Exotic vs defender's Intuition and Speed

Additional Details

  • Hilarious if they try to lob a grenade
  • Doesn't last long if they start shooting at the insides (though, typically, they won't have enough room)
  • Doesn't make them completely immune to weapon fire
  • Does stop them from shooting at you for a bit
  • When it goes down, will need to be used again
  • Can potentially project multiple fields at once
  • On a normal roll, will keep them still for 1.5-2.5 turns, where 2.5 is the remainder of that turn, all of the next, and part of the next.
  • As a non-lethal temporary-effect weapon, has a +1 chance to hit
  • Creates a globe; they can still turn and move around inside, and the shield does not block PSI abilities.
